JANEANE GARAFALO - Granada Theatre 01/11/2016

Tonight, I had the pleasure to meet Comedian/Actress Janeane Garofalo. She was in town for a stand-up show at the Granada Theatre in Dallas, TX. I arrived early with a bunch of my friends hoping to get her as she made her way in the theatre. Hours went by and many frozen toes later, no one had seen her until a worker from the theatre came out and told us that she was already inside and went in the front door. Now, this is usually when I chalk it up as a loss and go home, but not tonight. Me and my friends went to grab a bite to eat and returned when we were done. About an hour later Janeane peeked her head from around the corner of the building and said "what are you guys doing" then proceeded to walk towards us and start signing autographs while she smoked her cigarette. She was nice as can be and a real sweetheart. She was a trooper bearing the cold weather to sign autographs and take pictures with all her fans. It was a great night and definitely a great way to start 2016.
